Great for breakfast, and lunch (haven't been there for dinner) - and they serve a good hair of the dog that bit you too. Their fried calamari is the best we've had...ever.

Obstinate Daughter - This is on the nicer end - and in Sullivan's island (the next island over - which is a super-short drive)
Put on a nice(er) dress, but not too nice (you're on an island, but still in the south :-)

The Seabiscuit Cafe - Cash only (and they have an ATM right in the parking lot). If you're not interested in a hair of the dog that bit you, but just good "recovery" food - this one is it.

When a restaurant just seems "too much" - and you give in to the (almost always) unanimous vote for "pizza!".
Highly recommend hopping in the golf cart and getting some pizza from L&O.

Islanders 71 restaurant is a new restaurant that is now open next to the marina (which is only a 2-minute walk!).
Beautiful venue with views and balconies overlooking the intercoastal waterway.
