If you're looking for something that's open 24 hours then the name itself says it all. This place is awesome, serving up organic locally sourced food. I call it a hippie Denny's.

I recommend Lambert's for a nicer bbq experience set in a historic building in downtown. This place may be pricier but worth every penny.

For a casual night at the movies I highly recommend the Alamo Drafthouse. It is a true dining/ movie watching experience, Austin style.

If you like traditional comfort-food style country cooking then this is an excellent choice, and it's in downtown, so not far. They're brunch is fantastic!

If you like going for jogs you can do a 4 to 5 mile loop starting from the boardwalk all the way down crossing under the mopac bridge & back over the I-35 ped bridge. A nice loop around the lake.
