Historic Greenwich is a short and easy bus ride (cross Deptford park and take bus 47 or 188 eastwards for 5-10 minutes!) Lose yourself in Britain's maritime past. Hint: if driving, park in the Waitrose supermarket between Surrey Quays and Greenwich, and walk the last 5mins along the riverfront.
