Don’t miss to visit this historic sight in Corfu town (close to Spianada square). The old Venetian fortress protected Corfu for centuries and now offer visitors a glimpse into the past (plus breathtaking views from the top). In the summertime you might be able to attend live concerts from popular Greek artists. Make sure to add this to your bucket list.

Beaches
Dassia beach is easily accessible by car or bus (number 7) and less than 5km away. The combo sand/stone beach is great for families. Our favorite beach bar is Malibu where there’s great drinks, food and a pool if you’re looking for the best of both worlds.

The pebble beach’s crystal clear water is popular with locals and tourists alike. Make sure to reserve a spot during weekends and during the high season in July/August.
Visit the village of Palaiokastritsa — 20min by car, 30min by bus from the apartment — and enjoy the refreshing clear water of Agios Spiridon beach. Don’t miss the historic monastery on the hill top with its rich history, tranquility, and amazing views.

The beach of Liapades is about 20min (13km) away by car and combines some of the most romantic views with crystal clear water. The rocky sides of the beach are perfect for snorkeling and discovering little hidden corners. Be mindful though that the drive to Liapades is very steep and is only suitable for adventurous drivers.

Our favorite souvlaki place in Corfu city. We always get an order of the Greek salad, pork and chicken souvlaki. Located at a popular square in front of the town hall, it’s a busy restaurant, so make sure to factor some wait time in.
