We love celebrating at Locanda Amalfi. Delicious Italian food, great cocktails and robust wine list, and an atmosphere that makes you think you're in Italy for the night.

Downtown Pleasanton is very cute. Lots of good places to eat, and stroll around. If you are here on a Saturday morning, there is a great year round farmer's market!

Downtown Pleasanton is very cute. Lots of good places to eat, and stroll around. If you are here on a Saturday morning, there is a great year round farmer's market!
Livermore is about 15 minutes away and has tons to offer. It has a cute historical downtown with lots of delicious places to eat, a movie theater (and a regular theater), and over 50 wineries, some dating back to the 1800s-about as old as our house!
Some wineries to try:
-Occasio Winery, 2245B S Vasco Rd, Livermore, CA 94550. Try their rosé or their in-house spirits, we really like their Sidewinder gin.
-Wente Vineyards, 5050 Arroyo Rd, Livermore, CA 94550 (the oldest continuously operating winery in the area)
-Concannon Vineyard, 4590 Tesla Rd, Livermore, CA 94550
-Darcie Kent Vineyards, 7000 Tesla Rd, Livermore, CA 94550
-Dante Robere Vineyards, 1200 Wetmore Rd, Livermore, CA 94550 (located next to Sycamore Grove, which has great walking and hiking trails)
Be sure to check online or call ahead-many have limited hours available for tasting.
