Vancouver, WA Dining and Things To Do

Food scene

A lot of breweries (what the Pacific Northwest does best), and a few other options for good measure.
A local brewery with very good beer and pizza no more than a five minute drive from the house. Lots of local color and an authentic Vancouver Washington feel round these parts. They host bingo, dart championships, trivia night and more.

A great little brewery and bar with excellent Pizza and a solid northwest beer selection. maybe a 10 minute drive from the Airbnb but well worth it. A local gem.

A more upscale dining experience, right in the neighborhood. No more than .75 miles away at The Heathman Lodge, Vancouver’s best hotel and fine dining! Feeling like something better than Outback Steakhouse? Have dinner at Hudson’s Bar and Grill.

Vancouver’s most authentic Italian spot, with excellent food, wine, and all the feels of being back in Italy. I’d classify this as a finer dining experience. Located in the old downtown Vancouver off Fourth Plane west of I-5.

Great southern style chili with corn bread and a variety of sides. Still only taking orders at a window with an outdoor seating area, but the quality is there! Located in the old downtown Vancouver off Mill Plane west of I-5.

Have I mentioned I like a good brewery? Have a very authentic Pacific Northwest experience at this local brewpub in Battle Ground, WA, a small country town 20 minutes north of the Airbnb. Aside from a killer menu, Barrel Mountain brewing also distributes its beer so you might have had it before.

Short 8 minute drive to incredible burgers and mac and cheese, if that’s your thing. Another brewery — but the food is bomb, however, not low in calories. More good northwest beer on tap and great eats.

Breakfast, but make in 1950s Americana Diner style. On top of the novelty value of the classic 50s retro diner look and feel, the food here is really solid. Standard fare, done well. Maybe a 15 minute drive.

Portland’s very own Northwest wonder, Multnomah Falls is a waterfall located on Multnomah Creek in the Columbia River Gorge, east of Troutdale, between Corbett and Dodson, Oregon, United States. The waterfall is accessible from the Historic Columbia River Highway and Interstate 84. Spanning two tiers on basalt cliffs, it is the tallest waterfall in the state of Oregon at 620 ft (189 m) in height.[1] The Multnomah Creek Bridge, built in 1914, crosses below the falls, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
