A little further from Cozy Koza. Maslina is in the new neighborhood, but its charming terrace is ideal for a pleasant al fresco meal. Here, flavors are mainly Italian with delicious pizzas, but menu is rather diversified. Be aware that service could sometimes be slow.

With its contemporary and creative cuisine, Monte will delight the most demanding gourmets. Delicious, but obviously the bill is up to the exceptional quality of the food.

Do you want a romantic cocktail or a glass of champagne to end the day in style? Valentino (Santa Croce 28) has an exceptional setting where you can hear the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks from your table. It is also very touristy. Love it or hate it!

You don’t need to walk more than 2 minutes from Cozy Koza to reach the fish market that perpetuates the tradition. Open until about 11 a.m., it offers a wide selection of fish and seafood. Make sure to ask for wild fish caught in Istria. Just across the street, you will find the vegetable market (with a delicious local olive oil!), as well as a butcher shop and various other small shops (selling excellent fresh eggs).
