Kid Friendly Dining

Great for dining with the little ones. There is a little playroom in the back of the restaurant and a little park outside as well in case its easier to take the food outside and play. This is traditional cafe style where you order at the front of the restaurant.

Great little pizzeria right outside the city. We love the pizza and the fresh cut fries and most importantly, the ice cream! In addition to indoor dining, there is a great little outdoor picnic area to eat or take your food to go and walk around the pond across the street.

Great little local pizzeria with lots of different food choices. The place is very small so we enjoy grabbing the food to go and having lunch at buchanan park.

Lancaster's favorite downtown venue for affordable light fare and a wide selection of local and imported beers. Week nights feature food and drink specials, and weekends showcase live, local, original music. Come on down to "DipCo" and hang with the locals!

Slightly off the beaten path, the Horse Inn restaurant has spent several generations striving to please its guests in Lancaster, PA. The main entrance was at one time on a narrow alleyway which, to this day, remains unnamed. In the early 1920s, the Shaub family renovated the second floor hayloft into a speakeasy. The original horse stalls were transported upstairs where wagon wheel chandeliers adorn the dining room. The new owners of the Horse Inn, Matt and Starla Russell, have made several improvements to both the building and the menu. There are now two full bars and seating areas and a new, more accessible entrance on Fulton Street. Daily fresh ingredients and the use of local sources are crucial to Matt and Starla, who change the menu based on what is garden-fresh and in season. Don't worry; the infamous tenderloin tips on toast remain on the menu. The rich, brilliant dishes and one-of-a-kind cocktails will make you feel right at home.
