Reasonably priced, hearty and delicious food. One of our favorites for the Menu du Jour, or the XXL burger and fries! Pleasant ambience with a terrace looking out on the passersby.

Delicious, reasonably priced food with a daily menu change depending on local produce for the day. The Menu du jour in 3 courses is a bargain for 18 euro! Julie and her team in the kitchen have never dissapointed us! Make sure you call and book in advance as there are few tables and it is fully booked most days!

Our favorite restaurant so far! Expensive, so we only go on special occasions, but definately worth it as the setting is stunning, and the Michelin starred food has been unforgettable!

Another recently starred restaurant that is quite nearby. The prix fixe bistro lunch is delicious using vegetables from the hotels gardens and other local produce.

Just a 2 hour drive away on the autoroute, Bordeaux is a beautiful city with amazing architecture, fabulous food, and of course, wonderful wine! Definately worth a day trip!

The largest natural sand dune in Europe, the Dune de Pilat is really a marvel! During the high summer months (July/August) tends to be rather crowded, but off season definately worth seeing!

Meyral is a sleepy little village that seems to have attracted several artists who work and have galleries here. Our favorite artist gravure is Mi Desmedt who makes gravure and paintings of the local landscape.
