Food Scene - West Sedona

Our favorite restaurants just a short drive away. We know traffic can get a little crazy when trying to get to/through Uptown Sedona, so whenever we felt like eating out but didn't want to go too far these were our favorite places.
Best sushi in Sedona! Granted, Sedona does not have many options for sushi but this place is great! You can sit in the back patio or order takeout (we loved ordering takeout). Our favorites: gyoza (appetizer), chicken teriyaki (entree), yakisoba (we could not decide which sauce was best - teriyaki or the Japanese Worcestershire sauce), and Dragon roll and sashimi (sushi).

Quick and healthy eats! We loved getting the Daily Greens, Simply Strawberry and Tropics smoothies. These are great before or after a hike! The waffles and the Classic Acai Bowls were our go-tos.

We loved getting breakfast burritos here! We never got a chance to taste the crepes but we have no doubt that they are just as delicious as their burritos. They also have Mexican pan dulce.

If you are in need of a donut or two, say no more. They have your classics and some crazy delicious choices here. Make sure you come early because they sell out fast!

If you want more of a touristy-feel, go to the one in Uptown. If you want more of a local-feel, this is the place. This is the actual brewery. Tamaliza also sells some of the best tacos I have ever had that pair great with the Amber Ale or the IPA. There is also live music every week.

Food Scene - Village of Oak Creek

The Village of Oak Creek (AKA The Village or VOC) is about 25 minutes away from the AirBnB (with regular traffic). So if you are hiking at Bell Rock you might as well stay in The Village and enjoy our favorite places to eat here.
Great coffee, great pastries (vegan and gluten-free options), and locally owned! I would stop by the drive-thru to grab a coffee or chai latte on my way to work. My favorite pastries were the vegan cinnamon swirl bundt cake and vegan blueberry lemon doughnut (and I am not a vegan). The bacon & egg pinwheel puff pastry was also delicious!

We love the burgers here! I am sure all of their other food is great but we could never get ourselves to order anything but the burger. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options as well! Also, if you are looking for more a night scene bar, this is one of the few "nightclubs" in Sedona.

Great pizza and great salads! What else can you ask for? The Standard and Pepperoni were our go-to pizzas.

Great BBQ place! We loved getting the brisket to go and then making some quesadillas at home with it.

Food Scene - Uptown

Uptown Sedona is the main part of our small town. This is where Tlaquepaque is and where all the small shops are located. There are a lot of great restaurants here and it takes a bit longer to get to since the AirBnB is in West Sedona, but it is worth it!
The staff here is so welcoming! The beer and food are great! We loved getting the pub pretzel with a beer after a long hike!

This place is AMAZING!!! One of the best Mexican restaurants in the US. Warning: it is pricey and reservations are required for dine-in, but you need to book in advance (sometimes WAY in advance). It's a great place to celebrate special occasions!

This is an iconic place, and although it's technically in Oak Creek Canyon, we put it under Uptown because you have to go through Uptown to get to it. Oak Creek Canyon is beautiful and you feel like you are no longer in Arizona because the scenery changes pretty drastically. The sandwiches are great and on Mondays from 4pm until close, they have make some of the best pizza in Northern AZ.
