I recommend swinging by this farm stand prior to your departure to take home fresh vegetables and fruits! The scenery is beautiful as well.
Right next door is Wilma’s where you can enjoy fruit tarts and pies. They also serve a delicious lobster roll!

Walker's Roadside Stand

This is my favorite spot!! They offer all types of cheeses, local honey and other food items. They are big on supporting locally grown/made products. I also recommend buying coffee syrup so you can take a piece of Rhode Island home with you!

Most people go to Newport for the mansions, but we have one about 10 minutes nearby that isn’t very well known. I recommend touring this gorgeous mansion and the grounds if you enjoy history.

Trails
Please be sure to wear long pants and sleeves and a hat as we are seeing a high number of ticks this season. The ticks in our area carry lime disease. The type of ticks that carry lime disease are normally deer ticks. When you return do a full body search for any ticks and change your clothes, then put them in a bag.
If you suspect you have been bitten then I highly recommend going to South Coast Urgent care in Fall River, MA to get antibiotics as soon as possible. Lime disease is treatable if caught early, but if you let it linger it can cause health problems.
