This is the local village pub, which has a pretty decent restaurant too and a small convenience store at the back for basic items like bread and milk.

If you're looking for some good local Irish music shows check out the Seamus Ennis Arts Centre website to see what they have on. Set in a quaint rural Irish location it's the real deal and a good pint!

This is a beautiful old fishing village where you can get plenty of local fresh fish and enjoy a walk along the piers or take a small boat trip to Ireland’s eye (from the West pier) for about €15. Leo Burdocks is famous for great fish and chips at the end of the day.

Essentials
This is a fairly new lidl and very well stocked with general groceries and some other items and of course it’s super cheap! The fresh produce is good quality, and they have organic options. There’s also a good gluten free section.

Baldoyle Racecourse Park

The largest enclosed public park in any capital city in Europe opened in 1747. There's lots to do and see here including Dublin Zoo, The President's House (Aras an Uachtarain), Farmleigh House, coffee shops, cycle trails and walks. You can also check out phoenixpark.ie for any park events.

The largest enclosed public park in any capital city in Europe opened in 1747. There's lots to do and see here including Dublin Zoo, The President's House (Aras an Uachtarain), Farmleigh House, coffee shops, cycle trails and walks. You can also check out phoenixpark.ie for any park events.
If you fancy heading on a day trip out of the city, Glendalough is a favourite! A beautiful location with lakes, ancient trees & many hiking trails. You can check out Glendalough Visitor Centre and take a walk or drive to the Upper Lake from there. There's lots of hiking trails so grab a map and choose a route, or alternatively you can take a shorter walk beside the lakes.
