Really good value food. Main courses are approx €12. There is a small outdoor terrace upstairs, very nice on a sunny evening. Good fish and chips.

Check out the sardines on toast . Very popular with locals as they have seating outside and lovely on a Summer day. .

Fine dining and a great wine list in a beautiful ambience makes for a wonderful gastronomic experience. Kevin is passionate about food and wine and I highly recommend a visit here. It also does an early bird set menu which is great value .Book in advance. It is above Mc Sorleys bar .

Really nice ambiance with good Asian food and cocktails. Try the Aromatic duck,or salt and pepper prawns . Christina is a very welcoming manager. This is a popular choice for locals. Ten minutes walk from the house on Charleston road .

Up market set menu dining with a beautiful cocktail bar upstairs. Book the window snug for a romantic aspect. Good food,and wine ,lovely old building it was once a grocery store, where butter was sold in pats stamped with a shamrock, it was a beautiful store,the delivery bicycle has survived and the old wooden counter is polished to its former glory . I remember it from childhood ,thankfully the owners retained and restored many of the original features and it is a lovely ambiance to dine. Booking in advance is advised.
