A simple yet very good fish restaurant for lunch and dinner. It's very close to the apartment and this is where I usually go for lunch. Cooked over open fire. Fantastic fresh fish!

This is by far the best pizza in the entire Algarve. You have to try it! Make sure you get the frequent customer card for free pizzas.

One of my favorite restaurants in Algarve, situated in the green lush hills of Monchique. Some 15-20 minutes by car from Lagos in wonderful serpentine roads. Here I usually eat leg of pork or whole roasted lamb. Enjoy!

I love watching movies and this cinema in central Lagos shows movies in original language. Popcorns can be served with salt or sugar so make sure you get your favorite.

Lagos marina is just cross the street from the apartment and here you can find many interesting boat trips. I recommend dolphin sightseeing and the caves. Make sure you wear comfy clothes as the boat can rock a bit on the waves. Great fun though!

The main beach that covers most of East Lagos. Very nice beach with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Everyone goes here young as old, couples as families. Just beware of the nude beach that is marked up for your convenience.

Getting Around
Very cute train station that take you to Faro (where the airport is) or Lisbon if you make one change. Trains are very cheap in Portugal and you also get to see the beautiful landscape.

We actually have a small airport for turbo-prop planes. You can go here and ask for an hour sightseeing along the coast, or why not a trip to Lisbon? Prices on request at this cute little airport that is walking distance from the apartment.

Sightseeing
Sagres, also known as the End of the World, is the South-West corner of the European continent. Crowned by an old fortress and amazing waves hitting the cliffs, this place is worth a good half hour in car. The road itself is beautiful with curves caressing the coastline scenery.
