Here they distill their own rum and vodka but their drink menu is extremely creative. My personal favorite is a drink made with mango juice and mint, served with a dried mango garnish.... great afternoon spot.

Oldest bar in town, it is tiny but they have the best bloody mary in town and its a fun historic site.

Speakeasy feel, very fun if you are looking for a dressier night out. The entrance is easy to miss (speakeasy) it says "social" very small on a lamp post next to a flight of stairs leading underground.

If Horsetooth reservoir is a bit too busy (there is only one swim beach that gets a ton of traffic) you might consider the short (but steep) hike up to Seaman reservoir for some swimming and maybe cliff jumping!

Just past the very well known and over used trail to Grey Rock is this hidden gem that weaves in and out of a beautiful stream - perfect for taking the dogs.

Great place to let the dogs socialize and get all the excess energy out. It is a HUGE dog park with a swimming pond for Fido. Than take the trail just behind the park over the hill and around a small lake.

Drive up the beautiful Poudre canyon in the summer to see the fast moving river and watch the white water rafting, and in the winter enjoy a peaceful snowy drive. The destination is a very famous music venue/ restaurant with a porch hanging over the river.

This Brewery not only has amazing beer but an amazing venue. The huge patio is great (on weekdays) for families, dogs and just some relaxation. I always feel like I am just hanging out in a friends backyard. They have games and you order at the bar, so no servers pressuring you to continue ordering. Have one beer and stay for two hours! They also host food trucks and have a non alcoholic juice next to the water pitchers for the little ones.
