I eat here twice a week. get the grilled grouper and thank me later. very family friendly, high chairs and booster seats and not too stuffy. at the front counter they sell Seagrove beach t's and toys for kids.

best ice cream on 30A. get the coffee or blueberry cheesecake or peach sorbet. one of my favorite beach accesses is walkable from Blue Mountain creamery. expect a line during peak seasons.

Lots of shopping and food trucks (get the crepes or turkey leg). ice cream shops I would pass on. At night kids run through the large grassy arena outdoor space and during weekend nights they play kids movies so be sure to check seaside for movie schedule!

THE prettiest beach access. costs $5 for car entry and I recommend getting there early like 9-10am is perfect. During busy season it will fill up.

probably the most expensive and exquisite homes in 30A are located within Alys beach ( pronounced like ALICE). everything resembles Greece white architecture.

BIKES are best. walking second. car's third.
biking up and down 30A is the most popular way to travel. parking can be an issue, it can be overcrowded during peak times but with bikes you'll never have an issue. Walking is easy as there are sidewalks for doing so. By car it is harder to find the pocket beaches that are so easily missed. But if you prefer state park beaches, restrooms at your beach, etc than car travel is best.

My Favorite beach accesses
Leaving somerset bridge road and from my place, take a right on HWY 30A, look for S Dothan Ave on your left. That is my favorite beach access because it looks private but it is not. you can lock up bikes here or walk, it's probably a 15 min easy walk from my place. between this stop and Seaside there are about 5-8 "private looking " beach accesses that can only be seen by foot or bike. Love them all because they're more secluded.

Call or text Vacayzen who is most popular for renting kids items you may have forgotten. or things like bike trailers for kid travel.
They have everything and will deliver it right to your door.

earplugs and sound machines
While condo complex is known to be very peaceful and safe, it IS a condo. depending on the season or renters around you you could have a heavy footed person above you or nighttime noise. I sleep with a sound machine and find that it's perfect for light sleepers like myself.
