We try and get to this Honduran eatery as often as we can. It's a great. casual spot to bring the kids. Our favourites include the Pupusas, Burritos, and of course, the tacos: soft or crispy, you cannot go wrong!

This bakery has been a great addition to the area. Their calling card are their ice cream sandwiches, made with your choice of home-made ice cream heaped between fresh-baked cookies. They also have a lot of great gluten free options.

This place is always buzzing. The dining room does not offer much ambience. But the food is hearty, delicious and very reasonably priced. The fast service makes it a great choice for families.

We don't get out like we used to. But the area around Christie and Bloor is rich with night clubs, live music venues and cocktail lounges.
We have a comedy bar steps from our house! Such a fun thing to do when you don't feel like venturing out more than a few blocks.

This is fantastic outing for families. There is so much to do and see you could easily spend a couple of days going through all the floors of exhibits.

Parks & Nature
This section has to start with Christie Pits park, just across the street. But we are also located a short distance from Lake Ontario, as well as High Park.
It's our front yard!!! So much to do and see. Festivals all summer long, movies every Sunday, baseball, basketball, an outdoor pool, childrens' playground... I love our front yard and hope you will too!

Start out early and grab the ferry at the foot of Bay Street (we can give you more detailed instructions, just let us know). Bring a bike, or rent one once your across. Or enjoy a nice walk through the parks and beaches. There's even an amusement park in the summer months that is ideal if you have small children.

Sightseeing
It's the world's tallest free-standing tower!! Pretty awesome views. And if you can afford to eat in the revolving restaurant, it's a great value since it costs so much anyway just to get up and you can avoid that cost by eating there.

Many who travel to the Toronto area make time to head down to Niagara Falls, about a 2 hour drive away. It makes a great day trip, and it truly has to be seen to be believed.
