Check their website for showtimes. When there is not a play or musical on the stage, they often show elders movies. The theater is beautiful and admission is usually only $5. Snack are reasonably priced, and you can also get adult beverages. Lots to like about this theater.

Some pretty decent shopping for a town the size of Kearney. Also a decent place to do some walking if the weather is bad.

Best burgers in town with a great atmosphere. Outdoor patio is beautiful. Skewers are a great choice, but so is the pizza, and the french dip sandwich....EVERYTHING IS GOOD

Best Thai in town. Only Thai in town, but it's spectacular. Drunken noodles are to die for.

Downtown taproom that serves ONLY Nebraska made beer, wine, and liquor. Parking can be tough downtown on the weekend, but it's worth it. Just the North, beside the Chicken Coop restaurant is a public parking lot.

All the beer is brewed a few miles south in Axtell, Nebraska. The thin crust brick oven Pizza is fantastic! A pizza called "The Usual" is my favorite. Great place to have a beer and enjoy snacking on a fresh pretzel with stone ground mustard.
