Easiest airport in the country for its size. Cheap parking, too, though under construction for 2013. Use "Long Term 1, 2, or 3" to park. It's cheap & free shuttles are about every 5 minutes.

The bus system center is Uptown. The Hornets (formerly Bobcats) arena is nextdoor as is BofA HQ. The Linx Blue Line is about 100 yards west. There is NO link to the airport!

Spencer was once among the largest "cities" in this country (now, it's a very, very small town). It is the home of a huge railroad museum (called "Spencer Shops"). Admission incl. short train ride.

There are a LOT of restaurants in the South End and along East Blvd. On Fridays, a number (7 on my last visit) gourmet food trucks that park at West Blvd & Camden (you can't miss them).

This is a breakfast restaurant preferred by my wife. There's also an IHOP almost across the street (I've not been to the IHOP). The atmosphere is unique and food wholesome.

Cotswold has a Harris Teeter grocery store, Dairy Queen, Old Navy, an Art Supply Store and much more. It's not as big as Park Rd and smaller than South Park, but it fulfills a niche that people love!
