Grape Street Bar is a large bar venue with a laid-back vibe, great food, and tons of live music events and performers. Another great downtown spot! Classic bar drinks and a few specials. Be sure to try their shrimp tacos or the steak salad!

Just walk down the alley toward 8th street from the cottage, look to your right, and there's Lewis Park! This is a quiet, beautiful park. At least for now! As of 2019 they are starting to route the creek through the park and appear to have plans to both expand and create more access points. Soon, we're hoping it will be another active hub for public events and markets.

Another park very close to the cottage, Fichtner Park is expansive with a full loop walkway. If you're a runner and looking for an easy spot to do your thing, check out this park.

If you're going to Ashland, Lithia Park is a must. Located at the edge of the primary downtown area, Lithia Park offers long walking paths and lush scenery along Bear Creek. You will often see deer, squirrels, and often street performers here. There is an ice rink in the winter months, and plenty of events! Great spot for anyone.
