After a long day site seeing, this is a nice little pub to stop at when walking home via the West End

One of our favourite pubs. Good range of beers here. As its a basement bar, we would probably prefer the Stockbridge Tap during the summer.

Nice views of the Edinburgh skyline from here (on your way to the Botanic Gardens). Previous guests have used it for their morning run.

Instead of buying from iTunes, buy your CDs here and the money goes to charity (instead of Steve Jobs). I have picked up some great CDs here.

The Modern Art and Dean Galleries are a short walk from the flat. A nice shortcut is through the Dean Cemetery. Good cafes at both galleries.
