Beautiful rooftop bar hidden in downtown LA. Look closely for the golden bird in the elevator when you arrive. There is little signage here, so getting to the rooftop can sometimes feel like you're trying to sneak into a private club.

One of the most iconic hotels in downtown LA, with a massive amount of history! For those historians, this was where the last sighting of the "Black Dahlia" happened, and the hallway by the elevators has been seen in TV shows and movies for decades. Just set back from the lobby is a beautiful bar, with excellent cocktails. It's a great place to stop in for a drink!

Great place to sightsee and shop! GREAT CELEB sightings here as many, many shows tape at the CBS TV Center just next door! While you're there, take in a movie and eat at the historic farmer's market! Everything is DELICIOUS!

Great little group of shops- Urban Outfitters and small Free People store. Awesome place to browse just off the main drag of Hollywood Blvd. Also next to Amoeba Records, Arclight Theaters and a number of great places to eat!

HUGE park with lots of different areas to sit and take in some peace and quiet. Drive all the way to the top for the best views of downtown LA! Great place to take a picnic in the summer!

Griffith is MASSIVE! Enter the park through it's Eastern side and explore the less populated area. Check out the old abandoned zoo (you may even still be able to squeeze through the chain link at the lion cages, there's some very colorful graffiti inside, BUT ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!).

It's so easy to get to Hollywood. Take Western Ave. North all, turn left on Hollywood Blvd, and voila! you're there! Make sure to check out the Jimmy Kimmel show across from the Kodak theater, home to the Academy Awards, and Ripley's Believe it or Not on the corner of Hollywood and Highland.
