Great for romantic walk in the evening with a lot of benches to sit and watch the sunset :) It has great "stone" beaches too, a chappel and pine woods.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. Although it looks far away from the apartment, in nature it's accessible 20 minutes by foot.

It's located in a deep cavern :) A small sandy beach is in front of it. Sound & Lights are good.. Not my type of music (mostly EDM house) but good for fun.

It's a sweet little bar at the main square. People are nice, drinks are inexpensive, and place is very authentic. It's good for people who like smooth jazz, funk and soul music. I play there somethimes :)

Getting Around
Main bus station for all directions.
Makarska is a small city so, for most of your needs (beach, restaurants, night life, city centre, city port...) you won't need a car or a bus. You can leave your car parked at the house and easily get arround everything by foot...or even better, rent a bike :)

Ferry port. It's very valuable if you want to see some of the most beautiful Croatian islands (Hvar, Brač..) for a cheap price (if you go without a car). Also, there are lot of private boats/ships with various arrangements for traveling with food&drinks included..

There are two markets near the apartment which will be enough for your daily needs but if needed this is the biggest super market in the area with all the stuff (groceries , clothes, etc..)
