My absolute favorite. I love the ambiance, the food, the service. You can actually have a conversation with the people you are dining with. No loud music or TV screens. A meal as it should be.

Story has it that Jimmy Buffet forced them to change the name from Cheeseburger in Paradise. A kitchy place but great hamburgers, sweet potato fries, and milkshakes too. Imagine a beach around you.

I love my cup of coffee in the morning. You could say this place is the Cheers of Frederick. People come here to relax, read, meet friends, play chess or listen to the musicians that play here.

The best library ever!!!! A great children's section, beautiful architecture, a room devoted to Maryland history, a spiral staircase and deck overlooking the canal where you can enjoy a good read!
