Unique atmosphere, great BBQ, but do not go there if you are in a hurry! Great downhome atmosphere with some of the best BBQ ever!

This park is beautiful and informational.. The plants are so well maintained, the trails are unique and it is a really fun way to spend a couple of hours! Afterward, you can go straight down Barton Springs Road to the Shady Grove Restaurant or any of the other favorite resturants there...mexican food is great at Chuys!

2220 Barton Springs RdThis park is beautiful and informational.. The plants are so well maintained, the trails are unique and it is a really fun way to spend a couple of hours! Afterward, you can go straight down Barton Springs Road to the Shady Grove Restaurant or any of the other favorite resturants there...mexican food is great at Chuys!
This is a unique park with a natural spring fed pool, wonderful place to see and swim! Close to the Hike and Bike Trail, Zilker Botanical Gardens...a great place for outdoor fun!

This is the closest grocery to the house, but there is another at Escarpment and Slaughter Lane that is a larger store with many fun shops and restaurants (Like Mangeiris pizza cafe, the best pizza around)!

This is a hike up to the top of a view of Lake Austin that is incredible! Nearby Mayfield Park is also fun, if you want to see live peacocks strolling around the grounds!

It is a fabulous display of Texas History with an Imax theatre, you can check out the newest showings of informational films. Great spot for learning!

The campus is unique especially the University Tower and the Law Library is unique in that it has a fantastic collection of oriental rugs and antiques on display at all times. It is actually a museum in itself! Walk around the mall at the base of the tower and get a feel for the educational experience here. It is a unique place. Also the LBJ library which is just north of the main campus has fabulous historical displays from the time of his presidency...Lyndon Baines Johnson, that is..
