Tucked away at the end of the Madrona row of shops and restaurants is one of the best steaks you'll ever eat. That is if you make it past the starters. Helps to be a meat eater to enjoy this place but the chefs here are friendly, extremely talented and very accommodating.
Ask for wine recommendations, this restaurant often has a few bottles of something they just go in hiding in the back.

Parks & Nature
Big lawn & separated playground (big kids/little kids). Across the street from Cupcake Royale. A big favorite for parents and caretakers because there's (good) coffee right next door.

Drinks & Nightlife
Great food, cheap drinks, neighborhood favorite.
Don't be fooled by the casual interior and wallet-friendly pricing: the food here is amazing! Not only are they great at fried food, they age their steaks in house and often have a killer special. My favorite is the nachos w/ chicken.

Chucks has 30 or so beers and ciders on tap at all times, plus hundreds (maybe thousands?) of beers, ciders and other bottled boozy drinks for sale on site, with tables and a food truck always outside.
A true local hangout, people bring their dogs, kids & Chuck's has board games you can just sit around and play and hang out for an evening. The patio is very popular.

Shopping
Every Friday afternoon from 2-7, this small but thorough and delightful farmer's market pops up in the Grocery Outlet parking lot.
Definitely pick up a flat of whatever berries are in season. This market will hook you in with tons of fresh local produce, grass fed meats, local seafood, as well as bread, cookies, jams, chutneys and even ginger beer. Hungry? there's a brick oven pizza vendor, a truly top notch taco truck, naan, curry and even vegan stirfry.

Highly recommend the mangoes when they're in. These guys seem to find the best mangoes. Good beer/wine selection.
