This is a great little restaurant in a typical Del Ray bungalow,with French influence and organic food. They have an excellent brunch on weekends. You can walk here, but they also have parking.

If you are willing to wake up early Saturday morning, take a walk to Market Square (6:00 - 10:00 am) for fresh veggies, flowers, and a lot more. This has been a market since mid-1700's.

This is the best place for the grocery necessities. Also, within walking distance. You can cut through the back of the intermediate school!

In addition to all of the sites in DC, there is a lot to see in Old Town Alexandria. You can tour this colonial tavern that served our first 5 presidents and really eat where Washington ate!

Most tourists would never stop by this colonial home, owned by the Lee family across the street from where Robert E. grew up (his is a private home). Only a few blocks away, it's worth a trip.
