We love Melina's! This tiny store front serves delicious greek food (sandwiches and phyllo pastries!) - ideal for breakfast or lunch, and super affordable! Don't expect a lot of spots to sit down though!

This place sells homemade donuts (sugar, chocolate, or cinnamon coated) and delicious Icelandic hotdogs. It's a great laptop-friendly space to do some work, or to stop for a coffee with friends. Show up before ten am and you get three free donuts with any beverage! They also often have live music later in the afternoon

This is hands down one of Montreal's best restaurants. There is ALWAYS a line, even when it's -25 outside (wear your longjohns if you plan on going in February- you will be waiting outside). The teriyaki burger is a fan favourite, but you really can hardly go wrong here. We love their black tea icecream.

This restaurant is one of our favourite for Indian food. This area on Jean Talon is known for its Indian food- so check out neighbouring Chand Palace or Punjab Palace too! We're constantly comparing the three and can't decide which is our favourite.
