Also a nice pub but not as frequently visited by myself as The Rye. Nice front garden though with heaters and shelter if the weather is not so great. Also family friendly and good food.

I don't go to this pub so often but am mentioning it as they do comedy nights and other special events that might be of interest to you. Look them up on the internet for a list of events.

This is a fantastic pub for Sunday Lunch ie. the traditional British Roast!! But!!! You need to book in advance as it's very popular. Call them on 0208 299 9521. Also Family Friendly

This is a bar built into the railway arches under Peckham Rye station. It's young, hipster and loud!! And it does great pizza!! If you are looking to meet the cool, trendy locals then this is for you.

A charmingly retro pool hall with a small dance floor, this rough around the edges club has been home to some of the worlds best underground DJs in the last year. Licensed bar until 6am.

I have spent so many happy hours here at this outdoor pool! At the weekends there can be long queues but in the week it's a joy! Also has sauna and steam room, gym, and fitness classes. Nice cafe too!

This is an amazing area as once you are here you do not feel like you are in London at all. The city completely disappears and you are lost in the forest.

This is a nice trip to make and can include a visit to Dulwich Park. The gallery has a permanent collection of 600 paintings including Rembrant and Gainsborough and revolving temporary exhibitions.

This is a great place to hang out and enjoy the park. Nice lunches and breakfasts. Very child friendly and is right across from the flat. Sometimes they do special events such as theatre and cinema.

Although it's probably the most expensive, I find this to be the most convenient place to get food on the way home from town. Open until 11pm. Has all the basics and most else of what you want / need.

This is a cheap and cheerful grocery store option and is also open until 7am - 11pm. Definitely much cheaper than Tescos, has most major brands. Not so good for meat and fish though.
