The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus is regarded as the best preserved ancient theatre in Greece in terms of its perfect acoustics and fine structure. Salanti beach, is aprox. 5 kms South-West from Didyma. It has a great long white pebbly beach with a small chapel. Here you can swim in the beautiful clear blue sea and enjoy fresh fish in the small taverna that is occasionally open nearby.

The town was the capital of the First Hellenic Republic and of the Kingdom of Greece, from the start of the Greek Revolution in 1821 until 1834. Nafplio is now the capital of the regional unit of Argolis.

So in addition to the island’s exquisitely preserved stone architecture, criss-crossing rural paths and clear, deep waters, you can find a good cappuccino along the people-watching harbour.

The most popular nightlife spot of Ermioni is the port, which is lined by many fish taverns and lounge cafeterias. The cafeterias turn into bars in the evening and usually stay open till a bit after midnight. They attract young people and play romantic music.
