They simply have everything; delicious ecological food in a changing menu, cozy atmosphere, friendly service from down-to-earth staff and an eye for the small details. We would recommend this place to everyone we know, who deserves a good and extraordinary treatment!

The best italian ice cream in town! We love italian ice cream and here you can get a big variation in delicious flavors. They also have a shop at Trøjborg in Tordenskjoldsgade.

If you enjoy Mexican food, this is the ultimative place to go! You can get both spicy and less spicy food here. It's located only approximately 100 metres away from our apartment. The restaurant is really small, but you can always buy takeaway and enjoy it in our livingroom :-)

Located right beneath our apartment, this is a place where you'll get the best Italian pizzas and sandwiches. Super-thin, crusty bread and the best ingredients on top! Mmmmh!!

In case you want an exquisite dinner in more prestigious, fine surroundings, this is the place to go. Aarhus is known for its amazing cuisine, and Castenskiold is one of the main restaurants. Located on Åboulevarden, just a 2 minutes walk from our apartment, this is the place you should go for a fancy dinner (disclaimer: it's pretty expensive).

Aarhus is known for its amazing cuisine, and Castenskiold is one of the main restaurants. Located on Åboulevarden, just a 2 minutes walk from our apartment, this is the place you should go for a fancy dinner (disclaimer: it's pretty expensive).
If you dare to try the Danish cuisine, this is known to be the best place in town to do so. It has a great variety of Danish dishes, have been there ever since the opening of the theatre and therefore is a historical restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Come early around 20.00 because the place will be quickly crowded.

A good place to dance! Always filled with people, good drinks and nice music. This is a place you'll end your night out. We would definitely recommend it!

This bar has won the price for the best bar in town, and we understand why. It is a little walk away from our apartment, but it's worth it. They have the coziest backyard, a great variety of special beers from Denmark as well and international brands. The atmosphere is so chill, the staff is friendly and the setting is perhaps the coziest in the bar-life of Aarhus! :-)

They have the coziest backyard, a great variety of special beers from Denmark as well and international brands. The Botanic Gardens is a free space where you can both explore the green houses for free but also just go there to find a silent relaxing spot. Good for barbecuing and outdoor games . It's placed right next to the Old Town of Aarhus if you wanna kill two birds with one stone. :)

Here in Mindeparken you will find an amazing view of the ocean while perhaps enjoying a nice picnic. Here you will also find the Marselisborg Castle where our queen stays when she visits Aarhus. The castle also has an attached garden for you to walk around in and maybe enjoy a romantic moment in beautiful surroundings. And of course everything is for free! And not far from here, you can go to another park where you can walk around with deers, pet them and feed them. This is what we call "Dyrehaven".

Lighthouse, along with the Iceberg right beside it, is an area down by the harbor with interesting architecture. These are really expensive apartments with a nice view of the ocean. If you are interested in architecture, this is a good place to stop by when taking a walk.

The building has already welcomed a lot of tourists, and continues welcoming more and more. Whether you are interested in architecture or not, you will most likely find this building very interesting. It is also a good place to work or hang out and get a coffee while doing so. It is free to enter Dokk1.
