My suggestion for best brunch nearby. It does come at a cost though: there's always a wait. If you go early it won't be that bad. This place has never disappointed me.

Seriously world famous bakery. There's a line here usually sometimes, but it's good stuff. Try the morning bun or get a loaf of bread.

Awesome sports bar/restaurant with all-in-one "Pittsburgh-style" sandwiches (they put fries IN the sandwich). Great place to watch any game.

Well known outdoor beer garden that's a great place to go on a nice day. The bartenders can be a little salty though.

One of the best things in the neighborhood. a lovely large park for hanging out. It's a great place to people watch. There's tennis courts here too.
