Usually good for a quiet coffee or drink during the day, or a meal. Helpful staff. Coffee is a bit more expensive, but every fifth coffee is free if you pick up a coffee card. This is an excellent location if you want to spend an hour, or two, working with a coffee. Lots of space, free wireless internet, charging plugs, and the staff are very accomodating.

If you're in Dunedin on a Saturday, don't miss the Farmers Market at the Railway Station. A great selection of locally grown food, often organic/free range. Good for stocking up on fruit and vegetables, but also great if you're just looking for a morning snack and a coffee. The market begins very early on Saturday morning, and finishes at 12pm. The Dunedin Botanic Garden is a spectacular place for a walk. The lower garden (Cnr Great King St and Opoho Road) is entirely flat, and the upper garden (Lovelock Ave) is a bit steeper, but has some lovely spots. Hours can be spent wandering around here.
