You could hike all day here in the trees and see unusual remnants from mining days. There also is a museum and self-guided gold-mining tour. The "manor" and grounds are beautiful as well as the wood trails.

The swimming holes here are a wonderfully clear and deep as in Hawaii. Stunning and refreshing on a hot day.

Everything we have had there is delicious! The waiters are super great, and it is very, very reasonably priced. And it is in one of our oldest buildings that is so interesting to look at the rock walls while you dine and think about how it was here 100 years ago.
