Location #2 on Champa St. is a bit smaller than the original Rivers & Roads on Bruce Randolph Ave. It also has a smaller menu than the original location, but it’s a pretty walk through the neighborhood, and they have an amazing mural of Billie Holiday on the side of the building. You can stop by the Black American West Museum before or after too…or just head a few blocks west to RiNo.

At its height, the amphitheatre sits at 6,450 feet above sea level, and the surrounding Red Rocks Park covers 868 acres for hiking adventures. The amphitheater is owned and operated by the City and County of Denver. When there isn't a concert scheduled, visitors can get into the theater and explore, or join a fitness class like yoga or Crossfit.

The Mission Ballroom is a fantastic, new concert venue located in RiNo neighborhood (just a mile away from our house so you can walk to the venue!). The building opened in August 2019 with a capacity of nearly 4,000 patrons. There are food trucks outside the venue before events, but if you want to sit down and eat and drink beforehand, Black Shirt Brewing, Bigsby's Folly and Blue Moon Brewing are within walking distance too.
