In the summer it is the biggest market in the city, filled only (and we have to fight for this daily) with local farm stands and such delicacies. Great place to get the creme-de-la-creme products

Montreal Smoked Meat is (for meat lovers of course) a bucket list item. And you'll never get it better than at Shwartz's. The athmosphere is hectic, the decor hasn't change in ages and the spices are to die for. Expect a small queue at meal times.

There is a park on the moutain. Go to the angel statue on Parc avenue on Sundays for the largest drum circle event you could imagine (unless you're an active member of the rainbow community)
