It is a refurbished pub - fabulous decor and wonderful locally sourced food. Farm shop and micro brewery on premises too. Booking is essential, especially Sunday lunchtime.

Superb choice of teas, (and coffee), so much to choose and very friendly and knowledgeable owners. Amazing cakes including vegan. Also do savoury scones and soup for lunch. Quirky building with loads of character.

Great local pub, large garden and varied pub menu. Recently taken over by local farm who run the Poulshot Farm Shop, the pub food is farm to fork and very delicious. Very popular; booking essential at weekends.

Best Sunday roast in the area. Incredible value at under a tenner. Huge portions, freshly cooked vegetables. Puddings are amazing. Family run and friendly. Check website, booking essential.

Amazing National Trust property - you can visit the village which is also National Trust for the price of the car park. Many of the Harry Potter films had scenes shot here - see pictures of the stars in the local pubs. Lovely riverside walk too.

It's right on the doorstep! So many beautiful walks along the canal, and so much wildlife to see. Ducks, swans, herons, kingfishers and some amazing flora too.

Getting Around
Probably the closest station to us. There is a bus service, but not very frequent and doesn't run in the evenings. We can arrange pick up or drop off if given notice.
