An Irish pub with delicious food. I dream about the apple matchstick salad with salmon, but maybe that's just me! The appetizer sliders and truffle fries are fantastic to share with friends over a Guinness or glass of wine. Half of the restaurant has a cool pub feel, while the newer addition is a comphy dining room with cozy fireplace and views of the lake. In the summer, the outdoor patio is a wonderful place for a meal. This is my favorite go-to restaurant!

McCormick's Pub and Restaurant

This restaurant used to be a stuffy overpriced steakhouse. But the owner has transformed it into a younger, more delicious scene. This is the place to be Wednesday nights, especially in the summer on the outdoor patio with full Lake Minnetonka views. They mix a tableside salad that is their signature dish, that is really wonderful.
Old-school Wayzata diner offering solid breakfast fare, as well as pizza and other dinner options (although I have to admit I have never been for a meal other than breakfast or lunch). If you know anyone in town, you will probably bump into them here.

Lakeside dining and a local hot spot. Located in the the Wayzata Boat Works building, this restaurant sits right on the lake and offers an outside patio, upstairs outside patio and inside industrial-feeling dining room. The cuisine has a meat/seafood focus and the cocktails are great. They do a hysterical "Fat Pants" event in the bar on Fridays where the chef piles on a tower of delicious, hugely caloric foods that any 17 year old boy would love and devour! Another spot where you will run into people you know, if you know anyone here.

Delicious food focussing on healthy delicious options. Billy is the owner and he recently sold his uber-successful Sushi Fix next door to focus on this new venture. The decor is a bit sparse but the food and cocktails are really delicious.

This is really a restaurant and bar, but I didn't have that option for the review. The bar scene is very active, especially in the summer. The bright nautical theme perfectly matches its lakeside location. The cuisine is seafood focused and light. It is a great place to sit outside on a nice summer evening. sometimes there are fun bands outside on the patio.
