This place is a beautiful, airy space in Silver Lake with a full bar and restaurant. I like to sit at the bar and enjoy a nice rosé. Also if you eat fish their trout salad is delicious!

Pricy but delicious. If you're looking to spoil yourself and a significant other this is the spot. The bar is pretty damn cool too, and the drinks are crafty and good (great wine selection too). Again, this place is not cheap but it's a good time)

OK, this is the SPOT to eat if you are on a budget and want to enjoy a good breakfast (they close at 4). I love the staff because they are super friendly. Ask to sit outside so that you can people watch! Across from the 99 cent store and Yummy, so you can get your budget on!

Who doesn't love a good Mexican restaurant! El Condor opens at 5pm, the same time that their happy hour starts! I love sitting at the bar and having a happy hour bean burrito or taco along with their delicious margaritas.

Well, because its the Rustic; it's our stepchild! Lol!!! This bar reminds me of my hometown Vegas bars (the old ones). Its dark and loud, and believe it or not the food is good!

This place is great for many reasons; people watching, ducks, frogs, fish, and picnics. I love to take walks around this lake (20 minutes!). There is a cafe as well as food trucks and fruit carts, yum.

Hey, I like to pop in here after eating at Millie's and the 99 cent store. You can grab a salad or sandwich from their deli then sit outside to enjoy the weather. On the weekends there is a great flee market with awesome vintage clothing.

Mohawk Bend is a restaurant a few stores down with a great patio, and directly across the street is Wells Fargo, and ice cream shop, burger place, and a Chipotle.

This is a great Goodwill. I have picked up plenty of really cool dresses and clothes (huge selection). You know the drill, Goodwill has everything, plus this is close to Vermont St. and a few other cool spots.

GREAT vintage shop for the ladies. Not cheap but the I know my vintage and these clothes are fairly priced. Leap is for the sexy vintage lady, think Bianca Jagger or Zoe Kravitz.

Los Felix Theater always has 3 of the best movies out, I'm rarely disappointed. Be sure to buy your tickets in person like the old times way, they don't take online reservations.
