if you are an animal lover, this is entertaining. It was originally for children; a protected beach .... but then the seals took over. So no children allowed; just view from above; never get close to a pup because the moms are very protective.

Parks & Nature
awesome view; don't park in the lot unless you can't find parking; just park along strip heading southbound on 101 from Del Mar. hike up and then pick a trail to hike down to the beach. Amazing!
