Just across from the Harbourview Suite, Restaurant Evangeline has stood the test of time. Last year it marked its' 50th year in operation. With this kind of track record, the popularity of this establishment speaks for itself. They are opened early morning for breakfast, continue on with their lunch menu and on to the dinner menu, closing at 9pm each day. The "poutine" continues to be the local favourite here. They also make a good pizza. We'll let you be the judge of that.

Every Thursday night, they have what has been affectionally titled "Talent Night" where you will enjoy lively singing, fiddle playing and storytelling. You can even bring your musical instrument or vocal ability and you can make your debut. It's all in fun and everyone has a good time. On Saturday afternoons, from 2 to 6 pm, you will be entertained by fiddles from near and far. The Dorymans Beverage Room also has a restaurant on site.
