Kadosh is our favorite cafe/bakery. Mouth-watering pastries are made fresh every morning, and go great with the excellent coffee. Breakfast and lunch don't fall behind. Not cheap, but worth it.

A quaint spot with luxurious sweets. This ray of light opened up between the first Coronavirus lockdowns(!) and survived to tell the tale. Like many things that are extraordinarily pretty, it looks better than it tastes, but still worth the calories.

Being the only gay bar in town, the dance floor is too small for the crowd, but you can always escape to the terrace. Our favorite hangout, it has a nostalgia-packed wall gallery and fun music. Happy hour (1+1 on select drinks) nightly before 10pm makes this a budget choice, too.

The building, which was planned by the architect responsible for the Empire State Building in New York, is more modest but just as impressive, and hosts concerts, galleries, a gym, a courtyard and gardens. There's also a lovely cafe where you can sit down and rest spot. If you're with a companion they'll let you go in the elevator up to the famous bell tower, and view the city from above.

This is a mix between a co-working space, artist gallery, artist workshop and café/bar. A good place to stop to get refreshed, work on that e-mail or check out the alternative scene. The Moroccan gardens, which are outside the beautiful doors of the North African Jewish Heritage Museum, are definitely worth a look, perhaps the museum itself too.
