EATING
All the referenced places are located a few meters from our apartment (Tahiti Building). The biggest offer is along the seafront in Muchavista. You will not have to leave the beach or give up its views to enjoy a coffee or a good dinner. If you decide to walk in the opposite direction, towards the town of Campello, then you must cross the bridge to find a greater amount of gastronomic offer.

It is basically a place of snacks, where you make a small stop to take a cane accompanied by a lid. They also offer hamburgers and daily menus for lunch. If you are a vegetarian you will have to settle for white potatoes and little else. Fast service and cheap prices.

A three-minute walk from home you will find El Bodegón, a small grocery store where you can buy bread, eggs, vegetables and other food or cleaning products. The nearest supermarket is Lidl, about a 15 minute walk straight north. For larger purchases we recommend Mercadona, which offers home delivery and also online.

The staff is helpful and they have good parking spaces with wheelchair access, very quick at the cashpoints.

The staff is helpful and they have good parking spaces with wheelchair access, very quick at the cashpoints.

BEACHES
Our apartment is located at the end of Muchavista Beach. This coastal section is a place frequented by lovers of surf, sailing, diving, and fishing. Muchavista connects to San Juan Beach through an extensive promenade, ideal for runners. Right in front of the apartment, you will find a large oceanic Posidonia meadow. Posidonia Oceanica has been called “the lungs of the Mediterranean” because it is one of the most important sources of oxygen provided to the ocean and it is considered to be an indicator species of the overall quality of coastal waters. Thanks to the Posidonia, Muchavista beach stands out among one of the cleanest and most sustainable of the Alicante coast.

How to get from the airport to the apartment
The distance from International Airport L’Altet to El Campello is approximately 18 miles (29 km). To get from the airport to Campello you have 3 options:
1. Public transport: A bus from the Airport to Alicante Center, and from there you take the Tram (Total: 5.5€/person).
2. Transfer Service from the Airport to El Campello: this is around 38.54€ each way and child seats cost 7€ each. You must book it online and in advance.
3. By taxi, according to the City Taxi Service, the price is about €35 (Ordinary) €38 (Special).

How to get from Alicante to the apartment
From Alicante by car the most common route is taking N-332 and Carretera Valencia/N-332 (It’s 13 Km and takes about 21 minutes). By Tram (39 minutes, trams depart every 30 minutes) take line 3 in Luceros, get off in Fabraquer walk for 5 minutes (approximately 450 m). By bus the journey may take a bit longer, take bus 21 and get off at Jaume 1st/Rincón de la Zofra stop and cross the road, the building complex is just opposite the bus stop.
