Enjoy shopping in Basildon or Lakeside or Chelmsford, a beautifully modernized town with plenty to do. Ask me about the best walks in the area and i will point you to a few of my favs . Come and make yourself at home in this unique hand crafted miniature gite. Tucked away in the garden of a Tudor cottage, situated on the Addington village green just yards from the Angel Inn. Cottage style Kitchenette with miniature Belfast sink and cupboards. Small double raised bed with storage and dining table underneath. Fully centrally heated for those cosy winter/autumnal days. Rose Cottage, as we call it, has been painstakingly restored to create a delightful, light and cosy space.

The Ashdale Bee is the perfect place to relax and explore the local area of Battlesbridge, a picturesque village in the Crouch Valley. Visit the famous antiques centre, walk or paddle along the river or enjoy some food and drink in one of the many country pubs. Jump on the train and travel along the Crouch Valley line to vineyards, more river walks or the quiet, unspoiled, riverside town of Burnham on Crouch. Alternatively, travel in the opposite direction and London awaits within 40mins.

The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

You’ll enjoy complete privacy, with no surrounding properties and a real sense of peace and tranquillity. The property is located in the middle of a working farm, with our sheep grazing the marshes and a variety of fruit grown in the orchards.

Newly decorated ,Spacious 1 bed apartment. Less than 5 minute walk to sea-front and town centre. Brand new fitted kitchen and Electric Shower. Dog friendly with green space, ideal for dog walking, on the corner of the road and Southchurch Hall Gardens less than a 10 minute walk. I live above so any issues can be dealt with quickly. Free parking available both off road and permit parking. A perfect base for a seafront holiday.
