There are 2 incredible beaches within walking distance of the cottage as well as amazing scenery. Island hopping adventures abound with 4 ferries within a short drive offering day trips to Gigha, Islay, Jura, Arran and Cowal.

The cottage is within a 10 minute walk to the Atlantic shore and 10 minutes behind the house is the historic Beacharr standing stone. The cozy double bedroomed (2 king beds) cottage has panoramic sea views, stone walled kitchen and ease of access to public transport. Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the isle of Bute, the "secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Tarsuinn, a charming and traditional cottage

Tarsuinn cottage is in an elevated location with spectacular views over the Shiskine valley surrounded by farmland. There is a small fenced garden to the side of the cottage with a bench in a very sunny spot. To the rear there is a farmyard belonging to the neighbouring farm, which is mostly a sheep farm and not too busy. Just a 5 minutes long walk away you can find the Bellevue farm and enjoy a guided tour and lots of animals, even Alpacas.
