We are on deep water, not in a cove. The view is spectacular from the cabin or dock. The inside of this cabin has been designed and decorated with a modern farmhouse feel. The kitchen features a subzero fridge and ceramic cooktop. There is a sleeping porch /sunroom with window seats/sleeper benches.

Tranquil Chauga River Getaway offers a clean, safe, quiet retreat on beautiful Chauga River. There is a private dock that offers fishing and access by boat to Lake Hartwell. Multiple private decks provide river views, as well as, wildlife like ducks, blue herring, birds, and the occasional beaver. Private, dead end road access means minimal traffic. Area provides activities like waterfalls, hiking, kayaking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing pier, rafting, sightseeing, etc.

Mornings are best spent on either front deck or screened in back deck, enjoy your days on the lake with your boat in our covered slip or using our Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Board! Slow down in the evening with a game of foosball, air hockey, watching TV, or the sunset!. Great place to relax in wooded setting. *Check-in time is between 4pm and 10pm. We do not allow check-ins after 10pm*

We have a beautiful Cape Cod style cabin on Lake Hartwell, approx 40 min from Clemson, SC, and 45 min from Helen and the North Ga mountains. The cabin sits on a very large lot and is in a cove with only a few homes. Freedom Lake Cabin is clad in cedar and wood, inside and out and has a spacious open floor plan. The den has an open vaulted ceiling with a flat rock hearth and wood stove providing rustic lodge-like ambiance in a relaxed and comfortable setting.
