1862. Step back in time into Capt. Robert Hichborn's home, an elegant and comfortable 163 year old respite from your travels along the coast of Maine. Centrally located, this historic gem is within an hour to everywhere; from Camden to Rockport, Belfast to Bar Harbor, Augusta to Bangor, and Castine to Deer Isle, you are in the center! This lovingly cared for home boasts original wide pumpkin pine flooring, 10 foot ceilings, local art, board games, good feels, and very comfy beds and bedding.

Lavender by the Sea

The Cottage rests over the end of Penobscot River as it opens into the Bay. The Cottage will comfortably accommodate two. The Cottage has a spacious bedroom, full kitchen, dining area, den and an all season porch with rockers. From Cottage there are views of the water and the lavender gardens. The gardens are terraced with a path down to the sea. The Carriage House Suite is available for an additional fee. it has has two bedrooms, a full bath and a sitting area. It can easily sleep four.
