Geology on display. One of the world’s best examples of an entrenched meander. There are 2 anticlines. Lime ridge and Raplee. Valley of the Gods is the adjacent syncline.

Travel time: 1 hr 17 min Look down upon the San Juan River 1,000 ft below you and see the results of 300 million years of erosion from this park. Striking an uncannily similar appearance to the much more famous Horseshoe bend, this park is located near the southern border of the state a short distance from Mexican Hat, Utah.

All about the views - great to incorporate this side trip while taking in Bears Ears, Moki Dugway and Valley of the Gods.
