Two km south-east from Rogoznica there is a Cape Planka which is the most outstretched part of the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea, and it is a geographical divider of the north and south Adriatic

Amazing scenic views with a little church that dates back to ancient times when it was a temple. Mass is still held here regularly! This is a magical place you will never forget. You can also swim here but be careful, the waves can get very big.

Punta Planka divides the Adriatic into northern and southern, with strong winds, cyclones and anticyclones colliding over it, and strong sea currents in its submarine. Giant waves can rise on Punta Planka, while in the vicinity of Bonaca. Punta Planka is mentioned in the first meteorological records of the ancient Greeks. It was called Cape Diomedes because allegedly Diomed, one of the greatest heroes of Greek mythology, sailed to it. It was a dangerous place, there were catastrophic shipwrecks. Under the sea are many wrecks that are not far from the mainland and are not at great depths, so Rogoznica is a paradise for divers. One of the miracles attributed to St. John of Trogir is connected to the mysterious and dangerous Punta Planka. When the Hungarian king Koloman experienced a shipwreck near Punta Planka, according to legend, his life was saved by St. Ivan of Trogir walking on the stormy sea.
