Best Indian restaurant. Also affordable. Call before going as queues might take one hour or more.

Expect to wait in line and at the bar for 45-90 minutes, but I promise it is worth it.

A London classic, and it’s now opening in Manchester too. Bottomless chai tea for £2.50 – a secret authentic recipe they still refuse to share. Bacon naan and jackfruit biryani are also gorgeous. Our favourite branch is the Carnaby Street one, which is tucked just behind Oxford Street and has lots of little boutiques to explore.
